Andy
Andy is an aspiring teacher, yet to be hired. He spends his days working with kids with special needs and volunteering in schools around London, On. He is an avid video gamer and when not working, can often be found playing Call of Duty on his XBOX.
Having grown up in rural Thunder Bay, Andy has been comfortable in the outdoors ever since he can remember. Many of his summers were spent “rough it” camping in tents at lakes around Northwestern Ontario. He will be bringing his fishing rod on the trip in an attempt to catch those elusive Columbia River Pickerel, he’s no slouch with a rifle/bow either and has spent many adolescent years wandering the bush around his house searching for grouse for dinner.
Andy’s love of history began at Fort William Historical Park and blossomed into an Honors Degree in History from Lakehead University. His love of the fur trade knows no bounds and is most relaxed when sleeping on the wharf or lighting historic fires with flint and steel to make a delicious pea soup with a nice Kam Water base. (Note: expression here has nothing to do with Giardia) Andy spent many days as a gentleman as well, and ties a better cravat than Matt does.
Andy is stoked to hit the water with his best buds, though will very much miss his Fiancée Crystal, his dog Sir Scratchewan, and his two cats, Indy and Maya.
